Glawker agog over Mystal (10-copy) book "sellout"
First, let's address the elephant in the room, shall we? Elie blatantly ripped off Samuel Jackson's famous Pulp Fiction line "allow me to retort" for his book title. There, I said it (again).
But back to Gawker's excited utterances about the book.
Our former compatriot Elie Mystal has moved on to The Nation, but he’s still talking about law. He’s even got a new book! You should buy it (affiliate link)! But you might have to find an alternative supplier because Amazon is SOLD OUT one day into its release.
That's right, all ten copies have been purchased by members of the Mystal family!
Further down in the article, JoePa clarifies his "sold out" banner.
They just might not have printed enough copies for someone with an ATL-sized audience… with a Nation-sized boost… with MSNBC talking about the book on a daily basis.
Remind me, what is an ALT-sized audience?
Discuss.
